Family Planning Program
The Family Planning Program provides medical examinations including basic lab tests and screening for breast, cervical and testicular cancer; testing and treatment for some sexually transmitted diseases; follow-up and referral for prenatal care, infertility services and identified medical needs; pregnancy testing; health education and counseling; fertility awareness information; abstinence information; contraceptive methods such as oral contraceptive patch; spermicides and condoms; diaphragms; emergency contraceptive pills; IUDs; and surgical sterilization, tubal ligation/vasectomy for income eligible persons.
Federal Title X clinics provide medical exams free of charge to individuals with gross monthly incomes up to 100% of the current federal poverty level and on a sliding fee scale for those with incomes up to and including 250% of the current federal poverty level.
