Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program
A screening is when a doctor or nurse checks for a disease before you have any signs or symptoms. A breast exam and a mammogram are the screening tests for breast cancer. A pap test is the screening test for cervical cancer. All women are at risk for breast and cervical cancer. As you get older, your chance of getting breast or cervical cancer increases. Breast and cervical cancers are best treated when found early.
To see if you qualify for free or low-cost screenings or to make an appointment call 304-252-8531, extension 1. Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening services are available weekdays, except holidays, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. by appointment.
